New Judge! 

She’s already judging fashion designers, and now Heidi Klum is going to be judging a whole different kind of talent. The Project Runway host has been tapped to join Howie Mandel, Howard Stern and Melanie Brown as a fourth judge on NBC’S America’s Got Talent. Heidi begins taping the season today. Apparently as soon as the deal was signed she jumped on a plane to New Orleans where the first round of auditions are taking place.

The 6th Annual Old Mandeville Jane Austen Literary Festival will be held on March
9-10.  All Festival goers and participants are encouraged to wear costumes of the
era. Venues in old Mandeville are for easy walking and promenading! Restaurants,
 cafes and shops are nearby. Schedule of Events

Saturday morning events are at the Old Mandeville Trailhead, 675 Lafitte Street
Parking in commuter parking lot on Lafitte Street. View artisans and demonstrations
of the era 9:00-1:00pm.
