Chicago got a solid game from running back Matt Forte last night in Pittsburgh as the Bears held
off the Steelers 40-23 to remain unbeaten. The Bears moved to 3-0, while Pittsburgh continues
its struggles falling to 0-3.
Forte, a Slidell High grad, who also starred at Tulane University, led the Bears' ground game
with 87 yards on 16 carries with a touchdown. Forte also caught four passes for 24 yards from
Jay Cutler, who passed for 159 yards and a TD. Pittsburgh's Ben Roethlesberger passed for 406
yards hitting Antonio Brown for two touchdowns, but was picked off twice and fumbled in the losing effort. Brown caught nine passes for 196 yards.
