Slidell High Tigers QB Club golf

The Slidell High School Tigers' Quarterback Club golf tournament took place Friday at Pinewood
Country Club in Slidell with a total of 68 golfers participating. Pinewood golf pro James
Leitz said it was one of the largest fields in recent history.
Teams competed in a four-person scramble format. The winning team, which shot a gross score of
60, included David Hildebrandt, Lou Thomas, Dave Kaufman and Jim Little. The runner-up team just
one shot back, featured Joey and Jason Galey along with Cliff and Mark Dyer. The third place
team came in with a 62 gross score, just two shots off the pace, comprised of Bob Lackey,
Nicholas Ray, Steve Politte and Gary Tabor.
