Unbeaten NCS hosting Archbishop Hannan

Tonight's Lake 94.7 broadcast of the week originates from Wolverines Stadium with unbeaten
Northlake Christian School hosting the once beaten Archbishop Hannan Hawks,
NCS, 7-0 leads District 7-2A with a 4-0 mark, followed by Hannan at 3-1 and 6-1 overall. The
St. Thomas Aquinas Falcons are also in the thick of the district race at 3-1.
NCS slipped past STA 14-13 in overtime last week behind Taylor Mussachia's two touchdowns. STA
trailed 14-13 in overtime and decided to go for a two-point conversion, trying to gain the victory, but Falcons' quarterback Dillon Lee's pass was batted down by Gary Sampson.
Mussachia is a hard-nosed runner, who has a knack for coming through in the clutch, gaining
741 yards. He has tallied 13 rushing touchdowns and also sees time in the Wolverines' secondary.
Senior QB Josh O'Rear also makes things happen for the Wolverines and has rushed for 324 yards
with eight scores. O'Rear has completed 43-of-82 passes for 650 yards with eight TDs and four
interceptions. O'Rear also plays some in the secondary and is tied with teammate Jordan Rider
with two interceptions each.
The Archbishop Hannan Hawks counter with senior QB Korey Zeigler and senior running back Michael
Froeba. Zeigler rushed for a team-high 186 yards and scored on a nine-yard run in last week's 45-21 victory over Springfield. Froeba found the end zone four times and rushed for 140 yards.
On paper, tonight's NCS-Hannan contest, shapes up to be an interesting game with District 7-2A
title hopes on the line with just three district games remaining. Check out the Wolverines and Hawks tonight with the pregame show starting at 6:45.  Join myself and Matt Penix for tonight's call.
