In local soccer action, the Mandeville Lady Skippers road the five-goal performance of Mackenzie Manuel and two goals each from Mia Dubroc and Missy Ross in a 14-0 home district rout of the Ponchatoula Lady Green Wave. Isabel Barrios, Olivia Kerth, Caroline Boudreaux, Kayla Seals and Maddie Cool netted one goal each in the lopsided victory. Emily Rone and Jordyn Pellegrin split time in goal for the Lady Skippers, while Morgan Kleis was named Mandeville's top defender. Mandeville upped its record to 18-3-1, while moving to 6-2 in district play.
