NCS' Mason Cook nets four goals in district victory over PJP II
Northlake Christian School's Mason Cook turned in a solid performance netting four goals to help lead the Wolverines to a 6-1 district victory over the Pope John Paul II Jaguars on Wednesday at Lester Latino Field. NCS' Nathan Pearl and Matt Pearl added one goal each for the victorious Wolverines. NCS named Indiana Bruner its top defender and goalkeeper Josh Landry netted two saves as the Wolverines' defense did a good job in the victory. The NCS boys, ranked No. 1 in the Louisiana High School Soccer Coaches Association, moved to 12-1-3 and are unbeaten at 2-0 in the district race. PJP II's Andrew Arata netted the Jags' lone goal.
