The New Orleans Saints have announced the Black and Gold Scrimmage is set for this Saturday morning and takes place from 8:50 to 11 at the club's practice facility in Metairie. Saturday morning's scrimmage is open to the public with no admission fee. The gates open at 8 o'clock.
The Saints will have another Toon at the wide receiver position in addition to second-year
player Nick Toon as the team signed Tim Toon. The newest Toon, will wear jersey No. 19, the
number formerly worn by LSU Tiger receiver Deverey Henderson.
Following Tuesday's practice head coach Sean Payton said linebacker Curtis Lofton sat out
with a bad back, but the coach said he will be fine. Payton also said wide receiver Marques
Colston is progressing with his foot injury.
