The SLU Coaches' Caravan continues its 2013 tour tonight in Amite with an appearance at the city chamber at 101 S. E. Central Avenue, sponsored by the Alumni Association. Various Lions' coaches will be on hand to meet and greet fans to talk about their upcoming seasons. The event takes place from 6-8 p.m. Its the third stop on the tour and it culminates tomorrow night in Baton Rouge at Ralph and Kacoo's so there are a couple more opportunities to mingle with some of the Lions' coaches and SLU faithful. The Lions' football team opens the regular season Aug. 29, which is a Thursday, hosting Southeast Missouri.
