A number of local junior high school football teams will be taking center stage tomorrow at
Jack Salter Stadium here in Covington as the talented youngsters showcase their talents in
the inaugural Covington High-Jr. High Football Kickoff Classic. The action will feature three
games tomorrow with the gates opening at 3 o'clock and play kicking off at 4 with Lee Road Jr. High
going against Madisonville Junior followed by Fifth Ward taking on Archbishop Hannan's eighth grade team. The finale scheduled to start at 8 p.m. features William Pitcher squaring off with Folsom Jr. High.
The theme of the Kickoff Classic is Team-Unity and is sponsored by Hansen's Electric, Domino's
and The Lake 94.7. Come and support the local junior high school football teams in tomorrow's
CHS-Jr. High Football Kickoff Classic.
