The New Orleans Pelicans, 3-4 on the season, try to reach the .500 mark tonight on the road
taking on the Los Angeles Lakers, who are without the services of Kobe Bryant and point guard Steve nash, who is out with a back injury. The Pelicans have developed balanced scoring early in the season, averaging 96 points per game, led by Anthony Davis, who is scoring at a 21.7 clip and is pulling down 11.6 rebounds per game. Shooting guard Eric Gordon, appears to be over his injury problems, and averaging 16.1 points per game, playing just over 30 minutes per contest. Point guard Jrue Holiday enters tonight's game with the Lakers, averaging 14 points per game, dishing off 7.1 assists per outing.
