St. Tammany Parish features two remaining unbeaten teams in the Archbishop Hannan Hawks
and the Northlake Christian School Wolverines, who are both 5-0 heading into tonight's action.
Both the Hawks, who moved up to Class 2A this season and the Wolverines, compete in the same
district this year, District 7-2A. The pair faces off Oct. 25th at Wolverines Stadium.
Archbishop Hannan is at home tonight, hosting the St. Thomas Aquinas Falcons. The Hawks edged
district foe Pope John Paul II, 22-20 last week on the road.
Hawks' senior quarterback Korey Zeigler has paced the Hawks with excellent supporting
efforts from fellow seniors Jason Brooks and Michael Froeba. Junior receiver Daniel Hollander
has been a standout performer for the Hawks.
NCS rolled past Mt. Hermon, 42-6, last week with Taylor Mussachia rushing for 130 yards and three
TDs. Josh O'Rear rushed for 60 yards and scored twice.
NCS rushed for 327 yards last week, while the Wolverines' defense limited Mt. Hermon to just 12 yards on the ground.
The Wolverines are at home tonight. hosting St. Helena Central.
