The New Orleans Pelicans kept their winning streak alive moving to 3-0 in the preseason following a 99-95 road victory over the Orlando Magic with Anthony Davis, the "Brow", leading the way with 29 points and nine rebounds including four on the offensive end. Davis played 31 minutes, sinking all 11 of his free throw attempts and he blocked four shots.
Brian Roberts chipped in with 16 points, four assists, three rebounds and two steals followed by Ryan Anderson, who netted 12 points, clicking on 4-of-9 three-point attempts. The Pels connected on 7-of-13 attempts from behind the 3-point arc. New Orleans also hit clutch free throws, canning 26-of-29, making 89.7 percent of their charity tosses. The Pelicans won it at the free throw line, making eight straight in the
final 90-seconds to remain unbeaten as Orlando opened its preseason at home. The Pelicans return to action Sunday playing the Atlanta Hawks in the Mississippi Coast Convention Center in Biloxi with a 1 p.m. tip off.
