Saints host Falcons in opener

The New Orleans Saints are finalizing their preparations to host their NFC South rival,
Atlanta Falcons in Sunday's season opener in the Superdome.
The Black and Gold are anxious to put last season's critics to rest after posting a
disappointing 7-9 season being forced to go without head coach Sean Payton.
NFL analyst Mike Detillier says he feels having the boss back as he refers to Payton is worth
three wins. Detillier is picking the Saints to finish 10-6 and win the NFC South.
Meanwhile the Vegas odds makers are picking the Saints to have a nine-win season.
Payton has a sparkling 10-2 record in head-to-head competition with the Falcons in his career
and is 5-1 in the Superdome.
Detillier, a well-respected analyst and talent evaluator, predicts Sunday's Saints-Falcons'
home match up will be an explosive affair, picking the Saints to win it 33-30. Detillier
added, he wouldn't be surprised if it went into overtime.
