West Monroe's cameron Robinson selects Alabama

The LSU Tiger football team and coach Les Miles  lost out yesterday while trying to sign a big
time recruit with SEC rival Alabama winning out. West Monroe offensive lineman Cameron Robinson
has selected the Alabama Crimson Tide over the LSU Tigers.
Robinson, a 6-foot-6, 320-pounder, the No. 2 prospect in the NOLA.Com/Times Picayune Nifty 50
and a consensus five-star recruit considered the top offensive tackle in the nation, said he had
to separate himself as a fan of LSU and evaluate the school as a prospect. He said after doing
so, Alabama won out.
Robinson speaking in front of friends and family at West Monroe High yesterday and before a
national television audience said,"the school that I will attend will be the University of
Alabama."
This time around chalk one up for Alabama coach Nick Saban and his Tide.
