Saints offer Jimmy Graham a new contract

The Saints have made an initial offer to tight end Jimmy Graham, according to Pro Football Talk
.nbcsports.com.
Hopefully, owner Tom Benson will be willing to open up his check book once again to sign one of
the premier tight ends in the game and Drew Brees' favorite target three games into the Saints' unbeaten season.
Graham, who has excelled this year, is in the final year of his rookie contract. He earned
$1.9 million in his first three years and is scheduled to earn $1.323 million this season.
Graham is putting up big numbers as he leads the Saints and NFL tight ends with 23 receptions for 358 yards and four touchdowns. He is averaging 15.6 yards per catch. He caught nine passes for 134 yards with two touchdowns in the Saints' 31-7 victory over Arizona.
Graham has 238 career receptions totaling 3,006 yards with 29 TD catches. Be generous Mr. Benson and get the deal done, now!
