St. Paul's-Jesuit in the Dome

St. Paul's, the defending District 6-5A champs, coached by Kenny Sears, who is in his 15th
season running the program, will be on  Northshore Sports tonight along with a number of
his Wolves' players. Join me tonight broadcasting from WOW Cafe in the Clarion Inn &
Suites located on Highway 190 in Covington with the show airing from 6:30 to 8 o'clock. It's the
second consecutive year that WOW Cafe is hosting the Thursday night Northshore Sports show and we
look forward to another great year with them.
This week's Lake 94.7 high school football broadcast tomorrow night features St. Paul's
squaring off with the Jesuit Blue Jays in their initial meeting.
The Wolves battle the Blue Jays in the first game of the 2013 Allstate Sugar Bowl Prep
Football Showcase in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
St. Paul's dropped it's season opener to Karr falling 34-12, while Jesuit slipped past the
Ponchatoula Green Wave 28-23 in its opener. 
The third annual prep Showcase kicks off tomorrow night at six o'clock. Tomorrow night's
second game features the defending Class 2A champion John Curtis Patriots squaring off with
highly regarded St. Thomas Aquinas of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Curtis and St. Thomas
Aquinas are both ranked in the top 10 nationally in multiple preseason polls.
Tickets for the Allstate Sugar Bowl Prep Football Showcase are available by visiting
www.ticketmaster.com or the Mercedes-Benz Superdome Box Office. Tickets are $12 in advance
and $15 dollars the day of the game.
