SSA's Estapa recognized

The prep volleyball season is underway. St. Scholastica Academy junior setter Emma Estapa
was named a Times Picayune St. Tammany Athlete of the Week as she helped guide the Doves to a
5-3 record in the opening week.
Estapa delivered 182 assists, averaging 22.8 assists per match. Estapa posted 30 assists and three aces in a three set win over Covington. She delivered 49 assists to go with 16 digs in a five set victory over Archbishop Hannan.
In yesterday's volleyball action,
SSA downed the NCS Lady Wolverines, 25-23, 25-8, 25-17 as the Doves improved to 6-3. NCS, 5-1,
took its first loss under new head coach, Shannon Stockman-Puder, who transferred in from Florida.
NCS' Alaina Hardy delivered seven kills with three aces. Hannah Seale dished off 15 assists with five kills and three blocks.
