The Detroit Lions saved their best for last as quarterback Matthew Stafford scored on a
one-yard run with just 12 seconds left to steal a 31-30 victory over the Dallas Cowboys.
Detroit's Calvin Johnson, dubbed "Megatron," silenced Dallas wide out Dez Bryant, who made
comments earlier in the week about his ability being better than Johnson's. Johnson went about
his usual business yesterday, hauling in an incredible 14 passes for 329 yards and a 22-yard
TD. Johnson's total was second in NFL history behind Flipper Anderson's 336 yards against New
Orleans Nov. 26, 1989, a game which went into overtime.
Bryant finished with three catches including a late 50-yard scoring pass from Romo.
Bryant lost his cool on the Dallas sideline during the game and threw a verbal tantrum getting into a heated exchange with quarterback Tony Romo. Later, veteran tight end Jason Witten, got into it with Bryant and injured  Demarcus Ware got involved to difuse the situation.
Detroit improved to 5-3, while Dallas is even at
4-4.
