PJP II's Marlena Cutura earns Times Picayune honor

PJP II's Marlena Cutura recognized by Times picayune as Athlete of the Week

Pope John Paul II's Marlena Cutura, a freshman, garnered the volleyball award as the Times
Picayune's Northshore Athlete of the Week. Cutura helped lead her Lady Jaguars to the District 3-IV title with a 7-0 mark, downing Northlake Christian School in a four set match. Cutura helped bring the Lady Jags back after losing the first set. Cutura finished with 17 kills and recorded 21 digs in the district title clinching match. PJP II is 25-10 overall on the season.
