Mettenberger on the mark versus Mississippi State

LSU's Tigers returned to the winning side of the ledger rolling past the Mississippi State
Bulldogs 59-26 in an offensive explosion breaking open a close ballgame in the third
quarter.
LSU, the 10 ranked team in the nation, returns home to Death Valley this week hosting the
Florida Gators in a 2:30 kickoff with the game being aired on CBS.
Zach Mettenberger was sharp in the victory moving the Tigers to 5-1 and 2-1 in the SEC.
Mettenberger completed 25-of-29 attempts for 340 yards with two TDs, leading the Tigers to 28
fourth quarter points. Odell Beckham Jr., had a career night hauling in nine receptions for 179
yards. Beckham was on the receiving end of TD tosses covering 14 and 33 yards from Mettenberger. Jarvis Landry, who battled through an injury finished with eight receptions for 96 yards.
Running back Jeremy Hill handled the ground game rushing for 157 yards with TD runs of 69 and 5
yards. Kenny Hilliard chipped in with three scores and rushed for 39 yards.
Les Miles earned his 90th career victory with the Tigers.  
 LSU senior QB Zach Mettenberger completed 25-of-29 passes for 340 yards with two TDs to Odell Beckham, Jr., against Mississippi State.
