The New Orleans Zephyrs won last night in dramatic fashion earning a come-from-behind 8-7
victory over the Memphis Redbirds on a walk-off home run by Chris Valaika in the 11th-inning.
Valaika took his third homer of the season to the opposite field with one out to send the
Zephyrs to the victory.
The Zephyrs 69-68 are winding down the season and are sponsoring a number of promotions. The
Lake 94.7 is proud to be a sponsor of tomorrow night's St. Tammany Parish Night.
St. Tammany Parish groups or companies can purchase discounted ticket packages.
Northshore businesses will also have an opportunity to showcase their identity on the
Zephyrs Concourse.
Covington mayor Mike Cooper will toss out the first ceremonial pitch.
According to Lake 94.7's Rick Clasen, the mayor has been spotted at local batting cages around
town preparing for tomorrow night's first pitch.
Tomorrow night's game will feature Star Trek characters and fans can enjoy the post game Coca
