Lady Skippers posted a 2-1 record. Mandeville opened with the host West Monroe Lady Cowboys,
falling 52-46. Elise Reilly led the way with a game-high 25 points. Mandeville then edged Fairpark 44-39 with Reilly dropping in 22 points. Mandeville closed out tournament play trimming Lakeview 37-31. Mandeville, which trailed 19-17 at the half, was sparked by Reilly, who netted 18 points with two rebounds and two steals. Jazmyn Menina contributed seven points with three assists. Leah Sulzer added five points with two boards. Mandeville improved to 11-6 and is 1-1 in District 6-5A play. The Lady Skippers return to district action today on the road taking on the Ponchatoula Lady Green Wave.
