Pope John Paul II Lady Jaguars downed the Northlake Christian School Lady Wolverines 3-1 behind two goals from Jessica Mahoney and one from Christina Cutura in Wednesday's district match at Lester Latino Field. Marlena Cutura added an assist in the match that was tied 1-1 at halftime. PJP II goal keeper Alexis Molero contributed six saves, while Claire Cross was named the Lady Jags' top defender. PJP II moved to 8-1-1 on the season. NCS' Bethany Acosta netted the Lady Wolverines' lone goal assisted by Maddie Gill. NCS slipped to 3-5-1 overall.
