LHSDAA/State Farm Volleyball Tournament at the Pontchartrain Center


The LHSAA/State Farm Volleyball State Tournament gets underway today with quarterfinal matches at the Pontchartrain Center in Kenner. St. Tammany Parish has four teams, which have advanced to the tournament vying for state titles in their respective divisions.
In Division IV, the No. 5 seed, Pope John Paul II Lady Jaguars  square off with the No. 4 seed
Riverside Academy this morning at 10:50 Court 2 in the quarters..
In Division I, the NO. 9 seed and state runner up Fontainebleau Lady Bulldogs go against No. 1
seed St. Joseph's Academy tonight at 6:10 on Court one.
In Division II, No. 5 seed St. Scholastica Academy  takes on No. 4 seed Ben Franklin tonight at 6:10 on Court 2.
No. 2 seed Lakeshore, the Lady Titans, 35-6, battle No. 7 Sam Houston tonight at 8 o'clock on Court 2. Good luck to our St. Tammany Parish volleyball teams, who are competing for coveted state championship trophies.
