St. Tammany Parish teams hyped for playoffs

 
Ten St. Tammany Parish volleyball teams advanced to this year's volleyball playoffs with hopes of
making their way to the Pontchartrain Center in Kenner, the site of this year's LHSAA/State Farm
Volleyball State Tournament.
In the always competitive Division I, No. 9 seed Fontainebleau advances to the regional round, after sweeping Chalmette, 25-13, 25-14, 25-15, led by Nora Bloemer with 16 kills. Tiffany Marlbrough pulled up 16 digs and served three aces. The Lady Bulldogs now take on No. 8 Dominican, which had a first round bye. FHS travels to Dominican Monday for a 5:30 match.
In Division II action, No. 9 seed Cabrini defeated the Salmen, 25-17, 25-15, 25-23, closing out the Lady Spartans' season.
No. 2 seed Lakeshore, which drew a first round bye, hosts No. 15 seed Our Lady of Our Academy
and will play Monday at 6:00 o'clock.
No. 5 seed St. Scholastica Academy, which also had a bye, takes on No. 12 seed Belle Chasse
Monday at 6 p.m.
In Division IV play,
No. 9 seed Northlake Christian School swept Sophie B. Wright in convincing fashion, 25-3, 25-3, 25-4. Lady Wolverines' senior Hannah Seale was spectacular netting 42 assists with a team-high 19 aces. Seale also added 10 kills and three blocks. Sophomore Maddy Rouyer was on target delivering 10 kills with 15 digs, three blocks and three aces. NCS, 28-10, faces off with No. 8 Sacred Heart in the regional
round.The regional round game takes place Monday at Sacred Heart.
Moving to Division V, No. 12 seed First Baptist Christian School swept Crescent City, 25-14, 25-16, 25-12.
