Northshore Roller Derby Lethal Ladies fall to Cenla

Northshore Roller Derby Lethal Ladies came up short Saturday falling 246-90 to the Cenla Derby
Dames on the road in Alexandria. Cenla, which won both bouts this season, generated five power
jams in the last 15 minutes to put the game away. The Lethal Ladies slipped to 4-5, but are a much improved team from last year's 1-7 record. Northshore Roller Derby is hosting the Southern Belle Ringer Tournament this Saturday featuring 8 of the top 20 teams competing in the elimination style tourney. The tournament gets
underway Saturday at 10 a.m. and goes through about 9 p.m. at the Castine Center in Mandeville. The championship bout is scheduled to get underway at 7 Saturday night. Tickets are available at the door or you can go to brownpapertickets.com. For more information you can visit northshorerollerderby.com.
The Lethal Ladies are also involved as an official drop off point for Toys for Tots and the Covington Food Bank. Its a great way to get involved and help support the community.
