Saints release injury report heading into San Francisco 49ers' contest


The 7-2 New Orleans Saints head into a tough part of their schedule Sunday, facing off with the 6-3 San Francisco 49ers in a 3:25 kickoff from the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. The Saints released their first injury report yesterday heading into Sunday's tilt with the Niners. Four Saints' players didn't practice yesterday
including linebacker Curtis Lofton, the team's leading tackler with 71 stops, who is battling a hamstring and ankle injury. Rookie safety Kenny Vaccaro didn't practice out with a concussion suffered in the Black & Gold's impressive 49-17 victory over Dallas Sunday night. Tight end Ben Watson also missed practice yesterday due to the concussion after being hit trying to catch a TD pass against the Cowboys. Defensive tackle Akiem Hicks missed practice due to a back situation.
Tight end Jimmy Graham was limited due to his elbow and foot issues, while defensive end Cameron Jordan was also limited because of an ankle problem.
Safety Roman Harper dealing with a knee participated fully along with fellow safety Malcom Jenkins, who is recovering from a hamstring along with defensive end Tyrunn Walker with a knee injury.
