New Orleans Pelicans down Memphis Grizzles


The New Orleans Pelicans returned to the winning side of the ledger last night, securing a 99-84
victory over the Memphis Grizzlies with Eric Gordon leading the way with 19 points. Anthony
Davis netted 18 points with nine rebounds, three blocked shots and three steals to help spark the
Pelicans' victory. Tyreke Evans put together his best game of the season, scoring 16 points on
7-of-12 shooting, and added seven rebounds with four assists. Jrue Holiday finished with 11
points, while Jason Smith cracked double digits with 10 points and four rebounds. Al
Faroug-Aminu chipped in with nine points and seven rebounds.
Mike Conley scored a game-high 26 points for the 2-3 Memphis Grizzlies.
The Pelicans, who moved to 2-3, host the Los Angeles Lakers, tomorrow night in the Arena with
a 7 p.m. tip off.
